In sintesi

Low avalanche danger will prevail.

Problemi valanghivi

  • Wind slab

    • Above 2,000 m

Avalanche Activity

Low avalanche danger will prevail.

The small wind slabs of the last few days can be released in isolated cases on very steep shady slopes above approximately 2000 m. Caution is to be exercised at their margins in particular. Restraint should be exercised because avalanches can sweep people along and give rise to falls.

Snowpack Structure

Up to 5 cm of snow will fall on Sunday. The wind will be light to moderate. The snowpack will be generally stable. The somewhat older wind slabs have bonded quite well with the old snowpack. They are mostly rather small and unlikely to be released now. No distinct weak layers exist in the bottom section of the snowpack.

Tendency

As a consequence of new snow and a strengthening wind from southerly directions, small wind slabs will form on Monday in some places. Slight increase in danger.
