Moist avalanches and wet avalanches are the main danger.
Above approximately 1800 m small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized wet slab avalanches are possible. They can also release the wet snowpack. In the late morning the likelihood of avalanches being released will increase gradually in particular on very steep sunny slopes. Especially bases of rock walls are unfavourable.
The snowpack remains in most cases subject to considerable local variations. The amount of snow is subject to significant local variations. Below approximately 1800 m only a little snow is lying. The snowpack will be well bonded in particular on shady slopes. On sunny slopes the snowpack is moister. In gullies and bowls a lot of snow is lying.
