Forecast Snow Stability: Good stability in all locations. Some softening of older higher altitude snow patches will bring little change to the patchy, well bonded snowpack. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: Temperature inversion conditions with low temperatures in glens and milder temperatures near summits. Moderate to strong West winds easing and becoming South-West later. No precipitation is forecast. Observed Weather Influences: Cold, dry, light to moderate West-North-West winds. ObservedSnowStability: A dusting of fresh snow above 750 metre with little or no drifting. The patchy snowpack remains refrozen and stable. The avalanche hazard is Low.
