Forecast Snow Stability: Good stability in all locations. The patchy snowpack will become wet or moist but remain well bonded. Wet and weak residual cornices over selected East aspects. Thin, humid windslab is possible later on steep North to East aspects above 1000m but amounts expected to be negligible. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Forecast Weather Influences: Occasional showers of rain overnight, with a little snow over summits during daylight hours. Moderate South-West winds strengthening a little later. Much cooler by morning when the freezing level will be around 1000m. Observed Weather Influences: Dry and mild at all elevations. ObservedSnowStability: Little change. Moist, patchy snowpack confined to North through East to South-East aspects above 850m. Good stability in all locations. A few residual cornices, mainly along the rim of Beinn a Chaorainn and East-facing coires. The avalanche hazard is Low.
