Forecast Snow Stability: Little change is expected in the snowpack. The greatest deposits of snow tend to be on North to East aspects above 900 metres. It will firm up slightly overnight, and then soften through the day. Stability will be good throughout; however, some unstable sections of cornice will remain. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Forecast Weather Influences: After a clear night another dry day with sunny spells is expected. The freezing level will be above the summits. Winds will be light and variable. Observed Weather Influences: A lovely day with almost unbroken sunshine. Mild with the freezing level well above the summits. Light winds from the South-West. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack continues to slowly thaw and consolidate. Stability is generally good at all altitudes and aspects. The avalanche hazard is Low.
