Avalanche Activity

Thus far only isolated small snow slides and avalanches are possible in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls.

In all aspects and in places that are protected from the wind only isolated small moist snow slides and avalanches are possible as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation.

Snowpack Structure

The weather conditions as the day progresses will give rise to increasing softening of the snowpack in some cases. In addition the rather small wind slabs in places that are protected from the wind are capable of being triggered in very isolated cases.
