Snowpack Structure

The wind slabs remain prone to triggering. The wind slabs have bonded poorly with the old snowpack. The weather conditions will give rise to increasing moistening of the snowpack.

In particular on sunny slopes small and medium-sized natural avalanches are possible as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation. The wind slabs can be released, especially by large additional loads,.
