The natural avalanche activity will gradually increase. As a consequence of new snow and wind the avalanche prone locations will become more prevalent as the day progresses. The wind slabs are to be found adjacent to ridgelines and at high altitudes. These places are covered with new snow and are difficult to recognise. These can in some places be released by people. The conditions are unfavourable for ski touring. In all aspects as well as in all altitude zones less snow than usual is lying. The Avalanche Warning Service currently has only a small amount of information.

Up to 25 cm of snow fell on Saturday above approximately 1800 m. In some localities 25 cm of snow, but less in some localities, will fall on Sunday above approximately 1800 m. This snow will be deposited on surface hoar above approximately 2000 m. From a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying. In particular in all regions above approximately 2500 m snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. Faceted weak layers exist in the bottom section of the snowpack in particular on rocky shady slopes.

The avalanche danger will persist.
