Over a wide area over a wide area 2 to 5 cm of snow will fall above approximately 600 m. As a consequence of a moderate to strong wind from southwesterly directions, rather small wind slabs will form above the tree line. These can be released by a single winter sport participant in some cases in particular on extremely steep north, east and south facing slopes. Restraint should be exercised because avalanches can sweep people along and give rise to falls. In particular at high altitudes and in high Alpine regions the avalanche prone locations are more prevalent. These avalanche prone locations are to be found on extremely steep slopes and adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. Individual dry snow slides and avalanches are possible as the day progresses, but they will be mostly small, especially on extremely steep slopes.

10 to 20 cm of snow fell on Monday in all altitude zones. The upper section of the snowpack is largely stable and its surface consists of loosely bonded snow lying on a crust,, also above approximately 2200 m. Towards its base, the snowpack is largely stable. Below approximately 2300 m a little snow is lying.

Saturday: The weather will be mild. Above approximately 1200 m snow will fall from the afternoon. The avalanche danger will increase a little during the day.
