In sintesi

At the higher elevations the early season snowpack is mostly stable. Recent lighter snow lies over denser old snow layers. Loose snow sloughs and isolated areas of instability are possible on very steep slopes and in extreme terrain. Snow depths below an elevation of 8,500 feet are insufficient to produce avalanche hazards. Exercise normal caution and beware of shallow snowpack hazards.

Avalanche Discussion

( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )Snow showers are to continue overnight before tapering off in the morning. By the afternoon, skies should be mostly sunny. Mountain temperatures are to rise from the low teens to the low twenties. The general avalanche hazard remains low with avalanche hazard limited to isolated pockets that are most likely to be found in extreme terrain.
