In sintesi

The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. Yesterdays strong west winds created dense new wind slabs up to a foot deep on leeward aspects. At the mid and upper elevations these surface slabs could be human triggered on steep slopes and have the potential to step down to depths of three feet in cliff areas, near cornices and on the steep walls of cirques and basins. Careful evaluation of snow and terrain features will be necessary in avalanche terrain.
