In sintesi
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. The primary concern is surface slabs up to 18 inches in depth which could still be human triggered today. The secondary concern is large, dangerous hard slabs up to 5 feet in depth, which are becoming difficult to initiate but are still occurring in the region. Large groups, snow machiners, falling cornices, and surface slabs could all act as a trigger for these avalanches with severe consequences. If cloud cover does not increase as forecasted, surface slabs and cornice drops will be more likely as the sun warms and softens the snow surface.
