Moist and wet avalanches are the main danger.
Individual mostly small wet slab avalanches are possible above approximately 1900 m. Moist avalanches can additionally in isolated cases be released, mostly by large additional loads.
The snowpack will be subject to considerable local variations. The older wind slabs are to be found especially adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls and at high altitudes. The weather conditions will give rise to thorough wetting of the snowpack.
