Avalanche Activity

In these regions danger level 1 (low) will be reached.

The surface of the snowpack has frozen to form a strong crust and will soften during the day. From early morning, numerous natural avalanches are to be expected.

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack is stable and its surface has a melt-freeze crust that is strong in many cases. This applies in particular on steep slopes above the tree line.
