The fresh and somewhat older wind slabs can only be released in isolated cases, caution is to be exercised on extremely steep shady slopes above approximately 2600 m. Even a small avalanche can sweep winter sport participants along and give rise to falls.
Some snow will fall in some regions. As a consequence of a sometimes strong northwesterly wind, small wind slabs will form in some places. These will be deposited on soft layers on steep shady slopes at elevated altitudes. Only a small amount of snow is lying for the time of year.
Wednesday: As a consequence of warming, the likelihood of moist avalanches being released will increase a little.
