In some localities 0 to 5 cm of snow will fall on Tuesday above approximately 2500 m. The wind will be strong adjacent to ridgelines over a wide area. The fresh and somewhat older wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in isolated cases above approximately 2200 m. The mostly small wind slabs must be evaluated with care and prudence in all aspects above approximately 2200 m. In particular on steep slopes and below approximately 2500 m small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized moist and wet avalanches are possible as a consequence of the rain.
The snowpack will be generally stable. In addition wind slabs will form adjacent to ridgelines in all aspects and generally in the high Alpine regions. The meteorological conditions will bring about a slight rise in the danger of moist and wet avalanches towards the evening in particular below approximately 2500 m.
