30 to 60 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, will fall until late morning. The cold fresh snow and in particular the resulting wind slabs will become increasingly prone to triggering above approximately 2200 m. They are bonding only slowly with the old snowpack. Dry avalanches can be released, even by a single winter sport participant, in particular in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. The number and size of avalanche prone locations will increase as the day progresses. The natural activity of dry avalanches will gradually increase.

The Avalanche Warning Service currently has only a small amount of information that has been collected in the field. 30 to 60 cm of snow will fall until late morning. In many cases new snow and wind slabs are lying on a hard crust. Above approximately 2700 m snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. Below approximately 2000 m only a little snow is lying. The old snowpack will be generally well bonded.

The danger will persist.
