Avalanche Activity

The weather conditions gave rise to thorough wetting of the snowpack over a wide area.

In all aspects large and, in isolated cases, very large moist and wet avalanches are possible. Gliding avalanches can also occur at any time. Single winter sport participants can release avalanches as before.

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack remains wet all the way through over a wide area. In the regions exposed to rain this applies in particular.
