Avalanche Discussion

Thursday looks to be mostly dry and clear with a slight chance for isolated snow showers or flurries in the mountains. Mountain temperatures are to rise from the teens to the upper twenties to low thirties and winds are to be light. The general avalanche hazard will remain Moderate in western Wyoming. In very steep terrain that has seen recent wind loading, soft slabs to two foot depths could be triggered. In the Togwotee Pass area a slight chance also exists to trigger older hard slabs.
