Mostly stable snow exists. Avalanches are unlikely except for isolated pockets of wind slab up a foot deep in mid and upper elevation cliff areas and steep avalanche starting zones.

A high pressure ridge moving in from the west will bring dry conditions to the region. Skies on Friday will be mostly clear above areas of morning valley fog. Thermal inversions will develop in a warming trend. Mountain temperatures will drop into the low teens overnight and rise to near 30 degrees during the day. Winds will back towards the southwest at 10 miles per hour.The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW in the Teton area and MODERATE in the Continental Divide/Togwotee Pass and Southwest Trails/Greys River areas. At the higher elevations isolated pockets of wind slab up to 18 inches deep could be triggered in steep avalanche starting zones and cliff areas. In the Togwotee Pass and Greys River areas some potential may persist for humans on steep slopes to trigger full depth hard slab avalanches. The potential for humans to trigger avalanches will increase in all areas as the day progresses and temperatures rise.
