In sintesi

Temperatures are warm at the higher elevations and will rise into the mid 30s today. The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. Slabs up to two feet in depth persist in the starting zones of known avalanche paths, cliff areas and on the steep walls of cirques and basins. The potential for a person, especially someone on a snow machine, to trigger one of these slabs will increase as the day warms.

Winds will back towards the south at 10 miles per hour. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be MODERATE and will increase at the higher elevation as the day warms. Pockets of surface slab up to two feet in depth persist in known avalanche paths, cliff areas and on the steep walls of cirques and basins. These slabs could be triggered by the weight of a skier or a person on a snow machine. The potential for humans to trigger these slabs will increase as temperatures rise.
