In sintesi

Four to eight inches of dense, new snow has fallen onto ten inches of light powder. Very strong winds at ridgetops have created easily triggered slabs to two feet in depth on lee slopes. Under the new snow, at all elevations, older slabs to three feet in depth lie upon a weak layer of surface hoar and faceted snow. The new snowload on these weak layers will increase the chance of triggering a deeper slide. The possibilty of wet, loose slides at low elevations will increase with continued warm temperatures and rain. Steep areas like road cuts will be affected.
