Forecast Snow Stability: Snowpack stability will generally remain good with a firm and icy surface persisting at higher elevations. Greatest accumulations will be in sheltered gullies and in the higher Northerly and Easterly corries, mainly above 850 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: It will remain dry with the odd shower of light rain or drizzle later on Tuesday. Winds will be fresh to strong South or South-South-Westerly. The freezing level is expected to remain above the summits. Observed Weather Influences: Dry, settled conditions have affected the area, the freezing level is above the summits, winds have been generally South-Westerly moderate to fresh. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack remains firm with some surface softening on sun exposed slopes. Greatest accumulations are in sheltered gullies and on Northerly and Easterly aspects mainly above 850 metres. Stability is generally good. The avalanche hazard is Low.
