Forecast Snow Stability: Good stability in all locations. Firmer snow surface in the shade, moister in the sun. Remaining larger cornices will weaken later. The avalanche hazard will be Low.
Forecast Weather Influences: Dry. Clear skies overnight will give a surface frost at all altitudes. Progressively milder in the sun from dawn onwards. Light South-Easterly breeze. Observed Weather Influences: Dry. Cold overnight especially above 600m. Milder in the sun during the day, cooler where heavily shaded. Strong South-East winds eased during the day. ObservedSnowStability: Good stability in all locations. A trace of drifting snow during the morning but only at summit level. Pockets of well bonded old windslab on some steep NE aspects above 1000 metres. Moister and softer snow surface in sun-exposed locations. Larger cornices remain over some very steep East aspects, remnants elsewhere. More or less complete snow cover above 850m. The avalanche hazard is Low.
