In sintesi

Triggering an avalanche will be unlikely on Saturday. As always, keep an eye out for where isolated pockets of unstable snow may exist.

Saturday will be warm, but high clouds will keep the solar affect to a minimum. If you find the snow surface becoming wet and slush to ankle deep or deeper,  or if you observe rollerballs coming down, recognize these as precursory signs of wet loose avalanches. Even small wet loose avalanches can cause you to loose your footing in steep terrain.

Avalanche Discussion

There are some large corncices hanging over northerly and easterly slopes at ridge tops. Be cautious when approaching ridge tops from behind. It can difficult to discern where cornices are present if you don't have a good vantage point. I don't expect we will see widespread cornice breaks on Saturday, but remember they are a natural hazard to be aware of in the mountain environment.
