Hello fellow snow enthusiasts!! Just a quick update. The staff at the Utah Avalanche Center is back to work and we're gearing up for the upcoming season. I personally have no predictions on whether we will be in for a large snow year or not. Time will tell.
While we wait, there is a great educational opportunity coming up at Big Pine Sports this Tuesday. Ski Doo graciously supports avalanche education by paying Mike Duffy to go around to local shops and do avalanche training sessions. Mike has been doing this for a long time and does a great job. Bring your avalanche gear to dust off the cob webs or learn something new. If you don't have gear, there will be gear available at the training. There will be food there as well!!
