Avalanche Activity

Some fresh snow and the small wind slabs represent the main danger.

Above approximately 1000 m snow will fall in some localities. Some fresh snow and the mostly small wind slabs can be released, especially by large additional loads, on very steep shady slopes.

Snowpack Structure

In high Alpine regions only a little snow is lying. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on very steep shady slopes at high altitude and in the vicinity of peaks.
