In sintesi

The avalanche danger on the Manti Skyline remains generally LOW.

The snowpack is mostly stable and people can travel around the majority of the terrain without much concern of triggering an avalanche.

Snow and Weather

Current Conditions

Overnight temperatures were a bit warmer than the previous night with most weather stations around 20˚F. Northwest wind has increased in speed slightly over the last 12 hours but still remains fairly light outside of the most exposed terrain. Snow surface conditions consist of sun and wind crusts. There is some soft snow still to be found in the more protected northerly facing slopes.

Mountain Weather

We'll see plenty of sun today with ridgeline high temperatures in the mid 20s. Northwest wind will blow a little bit more than it did on Friday. It'll probably feel a little breezy along the higher more exposed terrain. We will see more benign weather for the next week. Weather models are now again hinting at a decent looking storm system around the 16th.
