The patchy older snowpack will be frozen, well consolidated and stable throughout, very firm at higher elevations. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: The scattered wintry showers will ease overnight, leaving a largely dry day. The strong Northerly airflow will moderate overnight, backing Westerly by the end of the period. The freezing level will dip to near glen levels overnight, but will gradually rise to around 700 metres through the day.
