Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will remain moist and generally well bonded at all levels. The patchy snowpack will be present in wind sheltered places, primarily coire rims, gully exits and mainly on North-West through North to East aspects above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: The freezing level will be around 2000 metres. A mainly dry day but with the possibility of a short spell of rain around mid morning. The South-Westerly winds will ease and back to become light from the East-North-East then veering to the South-East at the end of the day. Observed Weather Influences: The freezing level rose to well above all the summits, heavy rain fell at all levels during the morning it became slightly drier in the afternoon. The winds were strong from a South-Westerly direction. ObservedSnowStability: The snow cover is now much depleted, the patchy snowpack is wet and thawing at all elevations but it remains generally stable. The avalanche hazard is Low.
