Avalanche Activity

The weather will be very mild. Wet and gliding snow require caution.

As a consequence of warming during the day small to medium-sized moist and wet avalanches are possible above approximately 1700 m. In particular on shady slopes the avalanches can penetrate even deep layers. Weakly bonded old snow and wet snow require caution.

Snowpack Structure

The snowpack will be generally moist. The surface of the snowpack will only just freeze and will already be soft in the early morning.

Tendency

The fresh snow as well as the wind slabs will become increasingly prone to triggering.
