Avalanche danger is low. Main problem: wet snow. Small wet loose snow avalanches can trigger naturally in all aspects in very steep terrain. Smaller glide-snow avalanches can release on steep slopes over smooth ground with still plenty of snow.

In many places, the nocturnal skies are clouded thus preventing that snowpack surfaces freeze. Rain up to intermediate altitudes weakens the snowpack additionally and thus it forfeits its firmness. Possibility of gliding movements over wet smooth ground. At high altitudes the snow is still dry on the shady side. Snowdrift accumulations have mostly consolidated.
