The sometimes strong wind will transport the new snow. The somewhat older wind slabs will be covered with new snow and therefore difficult to recognise. The avalanche prone locations are rather rare but are difficult to recognise.

The wind will be moderate to strong over a wide area. The northwesterly wind will transport the new snow. The somewhat older wind slabs will be covered with new snow in some cases and therefore difficult to recognise. They can be released in isolated cases above the tree line. Weak layers exist in the old snowpack especially on north, northeast and northwest facing slopes. Low and intermediate altitudes as well as wind-protected sunny slopes: The snowpack is favourably layered.
In particular above the tree line snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. The somewhat older wind slabs are covered with new snow and therefore barely recognisable. Especially shady slopes where weaknesses exist in the old snowpack are unfavourable. Low and intermediate altitudes as well as wind-protected sunny slopes: The snowpack is stable and its surface has a crust. The wind slabs of recent weeks have bonded well with the old snowpack in particular on sunny slopes.
