As the day progresses as a consequence of warming during the day there will be an increase in the avalanche danger to level 2 (moderate).
The snowpack will be generally well bonded. The avalanche prone locations for dry avalanches are to be found in particular on steep north, northeast and northwest facing slopes above approximately 2200 m. Weak layers in the old snowpack can be released especially by large additional loads here. In addition there is a danger of moist and wet avalanches. The surface of the snowpack has frozen to form a strong crust and will soften quickly.

As a consequence of high temperatures and significant solar radiation a treacherous avalanche situation will develop.
Tendency
Backcountry tours and off-piste skiing should be started and concluded early.
