In sintesi
At the upper elevations northwest winds have formed isolated pockets of soft slab up to one foot in depth. If triggered these slabs could sweep a skier or snowboarder over a cliff or into a terrain trap. Dense older slabs to three feet in depth persist in steep cliff areas. These slabs lie upon crusts and faceted snow and could be triggered especially near rock outcrops were the slab is shallow. At the mid elevations, particularly at the upper range near 9000', isolated pockets of slab up to 18 inches in depth could be triggered in cliff areas and on steep wind loaded aspects. At the lower elevations strong crust exist on snow covered slopes and avalanches are unlikely.
