( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )Periods of snow are expected overnight through Friday. Accumulations of four to six inches are expected during this time. West winds averaging near twenty miles per hour and high temperatures in the mid twenties are expected. The avalanche hazard is expected to remain Moderate in the Teton and Southwest trails area where human triggered slabs to eighteen inch depths remain possible in steep wind loaded terrain particularly in couloirs and cliff areas. The hazard is expected to be Low in the Togwotee pass area where less recent snow has fallen and riders could trigger isolated pockets to a foot in depth in high, steep avalanche terrain.
