Avalanche Summary

You might be able to trigger an avalanche on steep slopes if you find a cohesive layer of drifted snow that sits over older snow below. Cracking and collapsing are signs of a slab over a weak layer, and if you observe these signs of instability, move to a lower-angle slope.

With continued warming throughout the week, be aware of loose activity on steep, rocky slopes in the afternoon.
