In sintesi

Morning temperatures are in the 30s. A warm southerly flow ahead of an approaching cold front will soften snow surfaces and increase the hazard for wet slides to be human triggered in very steep terrain.

Avalanche Discussion

A mild westerly flow will bring mostly dry conditions to the region. Skies will be clear overnight with temperatures that are expected to drop into the 20s by dawn. Skies will be mostly sunny on Saturday with temperatures rising into the 40s and 50s. Winds will be west-southwest at 5 to 15 miles per hour.At the highest elevations small pockets of shallow wind slab formed by southwest winds may be found in isolated areas and could pose a hazard to extreme skiers and climbers. Warming temperatures and sunshine could create shallow new snow sluffs and will increase the potential for wet slides to occur in very steep terrain and cliff areas after significant softening of the snow surfaces occurs. The general avalanche hazard will be LOW in the morning and increase to MODERATE during the day.
