As a consequence of new snow and a moderate to strong wind from westerly directions, sometimes deep wind slabs formed above approximately 2400 m. Weak layers exist in the top section of the snowpack at intermediate and high altitudes. Avalanches can be released, even by small loads in isolated cases. This applies in particular on very steep slopes, and adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. At high altitudes and in high Alpine regions the avalanche prone locations are more prevalent. At elevated altitudes more small and medium-sized dry avalanches are possible as a consequence of new snow and wind.

And a rapid settlement of the snowpack below about 2200 m As a consequence of falling temperatures a crust formed on the surface. Towards its surface, the snowpack is weak in some cases. Towards its base, the snowpack is largely stable.

The danger will decrease gradually. Continuous warming: These conditions will foster a gradual change towards better conditions in particular at low and intermediate altitudes.
