In sintesi

The general avalanche hazard is HIGH today. Strong southwest winds and new snow have formed dense new unstable slabs which lie upon light denisity snow. These slabs are likely to be easily triggered and could release naturally. They could step down with crown depths of four feet to older layers of crust and weak faceted snow. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
