In sintesi

The snowpack is mostly stable, however with todays warm temperatures some potential may persist for humans who venture into extreme terrain to trigger isolated pockets of hard wind slab up to a foot in depth. As the day warms the potential for humans to trigger wet loose slides on steep sunlit slopes will also increase.

Avalanche Discussion

( Discussion is generated from the previous day's afternoon forecast. )An approaching cold front is forecast to past through the region on Wednesday night. This could bring several inches of new snow to the higher elevations and a trace to an inch to the valleys. On Wednesday, expect increasing clouds with temperatures rising into the 30s in a warm southwest flow ahead of this front. The general avalanche hazard is expected to be LOW. Some potential may persist at the higher elevations for humans in extreme terrain to trigger shallow pockets of hard wind slab up to 18 inches deep.
