In sintesi

Avalanches are unlikely in an early season snowpack that is mostly stable and has not seen recent loading. Normal caution is advised. In isolated areas, a very slight possibility remains to trigger small shallow surface slabs.

Avalanche Discussion

A fast moving system will bring increased clouds overnight with light snow possible by morning. During the day on Friday up to four inches is expected in the mountains with another one to three inches possible Friday evening as the storm exits the area. Southwest winds with 25-35 mph averages are to accompany this storm. Highs on Friday to be in the upper teens to low twenties. The avalanche hazard is expected to be Low. In the afternoon isolated pockets of shallow surface slabs may form near ridge crests and areas prone to wind loading.
