The general avalanche hazard is HIGH today. Warm temperatures, rain and strong winds have created unstable conditions. Dense surface slabs lie upon weak layers of faceted snow. These slabs are likely to be easily triggered today and could step down to deeper layers or the ground. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
