The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE. Shallow sensitive surface sloughs will be easily triggered today and the potential to trigger deeper slabs that lie upon weak layers of snow continues, particularly today when very warm temperatures penetrate the snow surface. These larger avalanches could occur on very steep terrain in areas that have been previously ridden. As the snow warms the potential for sloughs in steep areas like road cuts or gullies will increase. Stay out of terrain traps.

Wednesday the westerly flow will bring another two inches and high temperatures near freezing.
