Periods of snow are expected during the night and through Thursday. A mix of snow and rain is likely at the lower elevations. Highs in the mountains are to be in the upper twenties to low thirties with highs in the valleys to reach near forty degrees. Summit winds will veer to the West during the day and increase to averages of twenty to twenty five miles per hour in the afternoon. The avalanche hazard will be LOW. As new wet snow accumulates at the higher elevations, shallow loose snow sluffs may become possible in very steep terrain during the afternoon.
