Mostly stable snow exist and avalanches are unlikely, however "low hazard does not mean no hazard". Backcountry users could trigger isolated pockets of fresh new soft slab in very steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones and have some potenital to trigger isolated pockets of older dense slab up to 18 inches in depth on very steep upper elevation northerly aspects.

Similar conditions are expected for Saturday as West-Southwest flow continues. Overnight lows in the mountains are projected to dip to into the low single digits under mostly clear skies before rebounding to near 20 degrees on Saturday. Ridge top winds should increase into the 20s.The General Avalanche Hazard for Saturday is LOW at all elevations. Cool temperatures with little additional load continue to stabilize the snowpack. Avalanches are unlikely, and pose little threat in all areas but the steepest wind loaded starting zones on high, northerly aspects.
