The general avalanche hazard is LOW today. New snow on slick crusts may slough easily from sun breaks or start from snow falling off trees or rocky areas. Travelers will also be able to initiate slides which should be relatively small unless they run into ravines, road cuts or other areas where debris can collect and become hazardous.
