The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on west to north to southeast facing wind-loaded slopes above approximately 2400 m.
The fresh and somewhat older wind slabs are in some cases prone to triggering. They can be released by a single winter sport participant. This applies in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas. The wind slabs are clearly recognisable to the trained eye.
2 to 5 cm of snow will fall above approximately 1300 m. Less snow than usual is lying. Above the tree line snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind.
The avalanche danger will persist.
