In sintesi

The avalanche danger remains generally LOW across the Skyline. There has been no significant weather to influence the avalanche conditions and the snowpack is mostly stable right now.

Snow and Weather

Current Condition: It was another gorgeous day in the mountains on Thursday with sunny skies and very mild temperatures. Southerly wind was light. Clouds moved in overnight and temperatures remained very mild with lows only in the upper 20s to low 30s.

Mountain Weather: We'll see clouds the next few days and temperatures will remain mild with highs around 40 along the ridges. Southerly wind will be light to moderate in speed today and increase on Saturday. Sunday brings a storm associated with a complex "closed low pressure system" that will affect weather in our zone through the middle of next week. These are difficult storm systems to forecast in my opinion. My take is that it doesn't look like it's going to bring all that much snow to the Skyline. As of now I'm thinking 2 to 4" might accumulate on Sunday then another shot about mid week.
