Observed Weather Influences: Overnight snow showers on North-West winds then dry, bright and cold. Winds eased to light variable during the day. ObservedSnowStability: Good stability in most locations. Accumulations of localised soft windslab lie on some very steep East to South aspects above 950m. Weak warmth from the sun brought some consolidation to all new snow by late morning. There is a general covering of thin fresh snow in most places above 750m. The limited old snowpack is refrozen, hard and well stabilised. The avalanche hazard is Low.
